BOGALUSA, La. (AP) - Bogalusa is adding a second code enforcement officer in its effort to fight blight in the Washington Parish city.

The Daily News reports (https://bit.ly/1i1fXkj ) Mayor Charles Mizell has been pushing clean-city policies since he took office in December 2010.

The new post will be filled by Melvin Keith.



He joins Rodney McGehee in patrolling Bogalusa streets and citing owners of unkempt properties.
