LAFAYETTE, La. (AP) - Transit services will not operate on Monday in Lafayette as the parish’s consolidated government observes Martin Luther King Day.

Tom Carroll, director of public works in Lafayette, tells KATC-TV (https://bit.ly/1i215SG ) that no buses will run during the day or at night. The parish’s para-transit service also will shut down for the day.

Transit service resumes Tuesday on its regular schedule.
