HOWELL, Mich. (AP) - A champion horse from Livingston County has been chosen as a model for this summer’s 25th annual BreyerFest in Lexington, Ky.
The Livingston County Daily Press & Argus reports ( https://bit.ly/1d06DIO ) that Paddyngton’s Mark of Distinction, known simply as Marcus, will be at the festival held July 11 to 13. BreyerFest is a family event that includes a horse fair and model horse activities.
The pinto American saddlebred horse is owned by Holly Armstrong. Armstrong owns Meadow Reflections Farm on Cohoctah Road in Cohoctah Township. She bought the horse about two years ago when it was a 3-year-old.
Marcus won two world titles last year at the Ohio State Fair in Columbus, Ohio.
