ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) - Four families have been displaced by an apartment building fire in Anchorage.
Fire officials tell the Anchorage Daily News (https://is.gd/Cr3x4Z) there were no injuries in the blaze in the Mountain View neighborhood Tuesday morning. The Red Cross is assisting the four families.
The fire started about 10:30 a.m. in a four-unit apartment complex.
Fire officials said it started in one unit and spread to the attic. The building didn’t have a fire wall.
Battalion Chief Kevin Keene says there’s substantial damage.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
