HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (AP) - Construction of the roof for Marshall University’s new indoor athletic facility is complete, thanks to a helicopter.

Marshall director of facilities and planning Ron May says space confinements prevented using a crane to place panels on the roof’s east side.

May tells the Herald-Dispatch (https://bit.ly/1eOwOBR) that a helicopter was used to place the panels.

The building is expected to be completed by August 2014.

It will house a 120-yard football field, a track and other practice facilities.
