ATLANTA (AP) - A former Atlanta television news anchor has been found innocent of drunken driving in a 2012 car crash.

Amanda Davis was acquitted on the charge Friday in Atlanta. She was also found not guilty of reckless driving, but she was convicted of failing to maintain a lane.

Davis was a longtime news anchor at WAGA-TV in Atlanta before retiring last year.

WSB-TV (https://bit.ly/1gU8Fz6 ) reports Davis was arrested in November 2012 after crashing into another car. Atlanta police say she was driving northbound in the southbound lane of Piedmont Avenue at the time.

The other driver later sued Davis over the wreck.

Davis took a leave of absence from the station after the crash.
