CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) - The West Virginia Higher Education Policy Commission has announced a series of student financial aid workshops.
Students can get free help completing applications for federal student aid and other financial aid forms at 25 locations across the state Sunday afternoon.
Brian Weingart is the commission’s senior director. He says students must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid in order to be considered for a variety of aid programs, including state and federal grants, scholarships and loans.
Students can preregister for the workshops, find locations and view a list of items to bring by logging on to www.cfwv.com .
