YAKIMA, Wash. (AP) - Four teenage boys accused of abducting a 15-year-old girl last week were charged Thursday in Yakima with kidnapping.

The Yakima Herald-Republic reports (https://bit.ly/1gadAYa ) the four - all 16 or 17 years old - are being tried as adults.

Police say they used a gun Jan. 27 to force the girl into the trunk of a car as she was walking to school.

The girl was able to use her phone from the trunk to call 911 for help. Police stopped the car on Highway 410 near Bumping Lake.

The driver was the girl’s ex-boyfriend.
