HOT SPRINGS, Ark. (AP) - Highway officials say the installation of a flood warning siren in Hot Springs will require a lane closure on Central Avenue.

The Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department says city crews will install the flood warning siren Wednesday near the Arlington Hotel on Central Avenue. The work will require closing the northbound outside lane near the hotel.

The department says drivers will still have access to the hotel and nearby businesses.

The lane closure is scheduled for 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday, weather permitting.
