JACKSON, Miss. (AP) - Police in Jackson say an autopsy has led to a Feb. 20 death being ruled a homicide.

A statement Friday afternoon from Jackson police said Willie Burton was found unresponsive at a Jackson address on Feb. 20. He died later that day. Now, autopsy results have revealed that his death was the result of trauma to the head. Police believe he was assaulted some time on Feb. 19 or 20 near the point where he was found.

A homicide investigation has been launched and police are asking for help from anyone who may have information on the killing.
