WEIRTON, W.Va. (AP) - Pietro Fiorentini plans to build a $9 million manufacturing plant in a business park in Brooke County.
The Herald-Star (https://bit.ly/1cM8NwV ) of Steubenville, Ohio, reports that the plant is expected to create 41 jobs initially and up to 150 jobs once it is fully operational.
The West Virginia Economic Development Authority approved the sale of 17 acres in the Three Springs Business Park to the company last week.
Northern Panhandle Business Development Corp. executive director Pat Ford tells the newspaper that Pietro Fiorentini has six months to close the real estate deal. He says construction won’t begin for at least 18 months.
Pietro Fiorentini manufactures equipment used in the oil and gas industry.
