CRAIG, Colo. (AP) - A Craig police officer has been terminated following his arrest in Grand Junction on suspicion of disorderly conduct and disrupting government operations.

According to a Mesa County summons, officer Eric Montes pushed a woman and insisted on sleeping in his vehicle while under the influence of alcohol even though officers asked him to stay in a hotel earlier this month.

According to the Craig Daily Press (https://tinyurl.com/kzy8pkg ), the police department said Monday that Montes no longer works for the department.

Montes could not be reached for comment on Tuesday.
