SHERWOOD, Ore. (AP) - Sherwood, Ore., police say the Clackamas County district attorney’s office has reviewed a state police investigation of Sherwood Officer Adam Keesee and decided no criminal charges will be filed against him.
A Sherwood police spokesman says Keesee remains on paid administrative leave pending an internal investigation.
The Oregonian reports (https://is.gd/Flj6Xj ) that Keesee was placed on leave in June. The state police investigation started after a tort claim was filed against the city of Sherwood and the officer.
Adam Keesee worked as the school resource officer at Sherwood High School starting in September 2011 and was reassigned in December 2012.
His wife, Denise Keesee, is a former Sherwood High School teacher who last week pleaded guilty to sexually abusing a student. Her sentencing was set for April 21.
