DALLAS (AP) - Federal prosecutors say two men who were part of a drug conspiracy involving nearly 40 people have received lengthy prison sentences for distributing methamphetamine.
Prosecutors announced Thursday that 41-year-old Steve Ysasaga of Arlington was sentenced a day earlier to 20 years in prison. Earlier this week 34-year-old Roberto Macias of El Paso received a 15-year term.
Both men pleaded guilty last year to their roles in the distribution ring. Prosecutors say a total of 39 people have entered guilty pleas in the case.
Ysasaga was given large amounts of meth from suppliers in the Dallas-Fort Worth area from 2010 to 2012 and then distributed the drug in the Wichita Falls area. He also coordinated the manufacturing of the drug.
Macias admitted he also distributed the drug to customers in Wichita Falls.
