ALEXANDRIA, La. (AP) - Louisiana State University of Alexandria has received the largest donation in its history — $6.2 million — from the Mulder Charitable Trust.
Incoming Chancellor Dan Howard tells The Town Talk (https://townta.lk/1nNcTGR ) funds from the endowment will go toward student scholarships and as well as faculty and staff support. Howard’s official start date is March 1, but he has been working with interim Chancellor Paul Coreil in the transition.
The endowment is a gift from the school’s largest donors, Howard and Eloise Mulder, founding members of the LSUA Foundation and former members of the Board of Directors.
