FAIRBANKS, Alaska (AP) - The government has officially allocated $66 million for six new Alaska Native health centers.

The Fairbanks Daily News-Miner reports (https://is.gd/fJOvkE) the Bureau of Indian Affairs and Indian Health Services finalized their budgets Tuesday, making the Alaska appropriations official.

The Chief Andrew Isaac Health Center, which opened in March in Fairbanks, is in line for the biggest share - $20 million.



Native health centers in Barrow, Anchorage, Nome, Kenai and Copper Center would receive between $3.5 million and $12.5 million.
