RIVERHEAD, N.Y. (AP) - A Long Island drug investigating has resulted in the arrest of nine people on charges they dealt a potent form of Heroin under the brand name “Hollywood.”

Suffolk County District Attorney Thomas Spota said Wednesday that six Riverhead residents and three men from Harlem were arrested. He said the six would travel to Harlem to buy heroin from the three men and then return to the east end.

Spota said the dealers would make their sales along the Route 58 corridor in the parking lots of gas stations, the Outlet Mall, Wal-Mart, Home Depot and the Department of Motor Vehicles.

Spota said on average street heroin in Suffolk can cost as much as $10 per bag, but heroin stamped “Hollywood,” cost $15 to $20 per dose because of its potency.
