MERRICK,N.Y. (AP) - Police say a 21-year-old woman is in critical condition following a motor vehicle accident on Long Island.
They say the Honda’s 20-year-old driver was struck by a Hyundai while making a left turn on Sunrise Highway in Merrick Monday evening.
The crash caused the victim in his car to be ejected through the window. She was taken to a hospital with multiple injuries and was listed in critical condition.
The drivers of both cars and another passenger in the Honda suffered minor injuries.
Police say no criminality is suspected.
