KALISPELL, Mont. (AP) - Officials in Flathead County have released the name of a 71-year-old Hungry Horse man who was shot to death on Valentine’s Day.

Sheriff Chuck Curry tells the Flathead Beacon (https://bit.ly/1bYBLG6 ) that Thomas Eugene Edwards died of a single gunshot wound to his chest.

Deputies responded to a shooting report at about 8 p.m. Friday.



Edwards’ girlfriend, 55-year-old Pamela Ruth Haines, was arrested and jailed on suspicion of deliberate homicide.
