MINNEAPOLIS (AP) - Two children remain in critical condition at Hennepin County Medical Center following a duplex fire that killed five people in north Minneapolis.

Shaca and Electra Lewis were among those injured in the pre-dawn fire Friday. A hospital spokeswoman says their father, Troy Lewis, has been upgraded to satisfactory condition.

The names of the five dead have not been released, but officials have said they include at least three children.

The cause of the blaze is being investigated, though fire officials say it appeared to have started on the second floor. That’s where neighbor Brandi Craig says Troy Lewis lived with seven children, ages 1 to 9.
