PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) - Police say a 16-year-old boy has been stabbed inside the Lloyd Center Mall in Portland in what detectives believe is a gang-related incident.

Sgt. Pete Simpson says the victim was found Wednesday afternoon near the Nordstrom store entrance. A suspect described as being in his 20s fled the scene.

Simpson says the victim was treated at a Portland hospital and released.

Witnesses told police some sort of dispute preceded the stabbing.
