INSTITUTE, W.Va. (AP) - Construction will begin this spring on a new athletic complex at West Virginia State University.
The $3.5 million facility will be located next to the school’s football field. The two-story building will contain meeting rooms, a weight room, training room and a locker room.
The facility will be named in honor of Logan native and 1980 West Virginia State graduate Gregory V. Monroe, who made an undisclosed significant contribution to the university.
