WHEATON, Ill. (AP) - A suburban Chicago man is being held on $2.5 million bond for the shooting death of a DuPage County store clerk.
The (Arlington Heights) Daily Herald reports (https://bit.ly/1okQyU6 ) 20-year-old Kenneth Bardlett is charged with first-degree murder and attempted armed robbery for the Jan. 19 shooting death in Bensenville.
He appeared in a Wheaton court Wednesday.
Bardlett is charged in connection with the shooting death of Hussein Saghir. Authorities say they’re looking for a second man who fired the shots that killed the 36-year-old.
It wasn’t immediately clear if Bardlett had an attorney
