PENDLETON, Ore. (AP) - Umatilla County authorities say a suspect has been arrested in the killing of a 25-year-old man last week near Hermiston.

The East Oregonian reports (https://bit.ly/1lvKiGK ) that Timothy Kelly was captured Monday in Hood River and booked at the Umatilla County Jail on a murder charge.

Sheriff Terry Rowan said he’s accused of shooting Daniel Dechand Feb. 4 while they were in an SUV outside Hermiston. Dechand died at the hospital in Hermiston.
