TEXARKANA, Ark. (AP) - The Storm Prediction Center says portions of northeastern Texas, southern Arkansas and northern Louisiana will likely see freezing rain and sleet Tuesday afternoon.

Northeast Texas could see accumulations up to a tenth of an inch in areas where temperatures drop to freezing or below. More significant icing of up to a quarter-inch could occur in southern Arkansas and northern Louisiana by early evening.

The Oklahoma-based storm center says moisture will stream into the area as temperatures drop later in the day. The area of concern is from east of Dallas to the Shreveport-Texarkana area and to the Arkansas-Louisiana-Mississippi border.
