LAKE OSWEGO, Ore. (AP) - Fire officials in the Portland suburb of Lake Oswego say residents of one home have been told to leave because of fears that a landslide above their house could start moving again.

The Oregonian reports (https://is.gd/2nSmZ9 ) that the evacuation Monday evening is described as a precaution. Residents of two other nearby homes were advised of the slide but only one house is directly beneath it.

Fire officials want to check the hill in daylight Tuesday.

A nearby home sustained a water pipe break, likely because of recent cold weather, and that water saturated the hill.
