PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) - Former U.S. Senator Olympia Snowe is set to deliver an address on hyper-partisanship in Washington during a visit to Brown University.
The Maine Republican will deliver remarks Monday in MacMillan Hall. The 4 p.m. event is free and open to the public.
Snowe, a self-described centrist, left the Senate last year after 34 years in Congress.
She has criticized increasing partisanship in Washington and says there aren’t enough leaders willing to forge compromises.
