SEATTLE (AP) - The precipitation is turning from white to wet in Western Washington, and the National Weather Service says this week should be typical for February with high temperatures in the 40s and a series of fronts bringing rain.
Forecasters expect significant snow in the Olympics and Cascades and mountains of Eastern Washington.
The precipitation should start as snow in the Eastern Washington valley Monday but turn to rain as temperatures climb above freezing for the first time this month.
