BLAND, Mo. (AP) - Officials in a small east-central Missouri town say it will be at least six months before workers can move back into city hall.

When a pipe broke early Friday under the Bland city hall in Gasconade County, it left everything in the building under 3 feet of water.

City Clerk Rachel Anderson says the building can be saved but everything inside was a total loss. City officials said Sunday it will take up to six months to repair the damage. A boil water order for the town was lifted on Sunday.

KRCG reports (https://bit.ly/M4Yn1h ) town officials set up in the recreational room of Bland’s First Baptist Church. Municipal court documents were spread out on tables and hung from clotheslines to dry them.
