Body found inside burning car in suburban NY

PURDYS, N.Y. (AP) - Authorities say the body of a man was found inside a burning SUV parked in a train station parking lot in suburban New York.

According to the Journal News (https://lohud.us/1dbi7e2 ), the MTA said firefighters discovered the unconscious man Sunday night at the Purdys train station. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Croton Falls fire department responded to the fire at 3:45 p.m.

The medical examiner will determine the cause of death. The fire is under investigation.
