MIAMI (AP) - Investigators are trying to find out why people were ambushed as they sat in a car in a northwest Miami-Dade County neighborhood.
The Saturday night shooting left two people dead and another in the hospital. A fourth person inside the car escaped injury.
The Miami Herald (https://hrld.us/LP7BxT ) reports two cars drove up and opened fire on the vehicle.
Neighbors who called 911 say they heard about a dozen gunshots.
Police say one of the victims ran about two blocks to a McDonalds before collapsing. One man was dead at the scene and another died after being taken to the hospital.
