Jenna Bush Hager playfully admitted Wednesday night that she took part in some “hanky panky” on top of the White House roof when she was a teenager.
In a lighthearted interview on Bravo’s “Watch What Happens Live,” Mrs. Hager, now 33, was reserved at first when asked if she ever fooled around at the White House when her father, George W. Bush, was president.
“Listen, a lady never talks,” she said at first, eventually admitting to “a little hanky panky” when she was 19, Gawker reported.
“Maybe there was a little kiss on the roof,” she added.
Mrs. Hager, who has a fraternal twin, Barbara Pierce Bush, also defended Sasha and Malia Obama from recent criticism, saying she’s “fiercely protective” of the first daughters.
“I’m fiercely protective of them, obviously. It’s not easy, and it’s not a job that they wanted. And so it’s hard! I mean I, obviously, heh, had a hard time. But it’s also a privilege. So I mean … they’ve done an incredible job,” she said.
