TACOMA, Wash. (AP) - A woman accused of having sex with her students at Lincoln High School in Tacoma pleaded not guilty Tuesday to a charge of sexual misconduct with a minor.

The News Tribune reports (https://bit.ly/1hBkvYX) it was a new accusation from a fourth student against Meredith Powell. The 17-year-old said she touched him inappropriately last year when he asked for help with math in her classroom.

The 24-year-old pleaded not guilty in February to charges of rape and communicating with a minor for immoral purposes involving three other teenage boys at the school.

Powell resigned after the initial charges were filed, and she has surrendered her state teaching certificate.
