DENVER (AP) - Chicago White Sox outfielder Avisail Garcia left in the sixth inning of Wednesday’s game against Colorado after injuring his left shoulder.
Garcia made an unsuccessful attempt for a diving catch on DJ LeMahieu’s drive to right with two outs. After appearing to first catch the ball, Garcia lost it when he hit the ground.
Garcia remained on the ground for several minutes, then left the field on his own power. There was no immediate detail on how badly he was hurt.
