SPOKANE, Wash. (AP) - Gonzaga University is suing the owner of a downtown Spokane bar that drew negative attention when it advertised a drink called “Date Grape Koolaid.”

In the suit filed Tuesday against Pendleton Enterprises, the university wants the bar to stop using any Gonzaga logos or trademarks.

KHQ reports (https://nbcnews.to/1hBlFn2 ) Gonzaga has no connection to the bar and doesn’t want any association with the negative publicity about the drink.
