PHILADELPHIA (AP) - A massive fire in a clothing store in the touristy Old City neighborhood has left the landmark business destroyed.

The two-alarm fire was reported just after 9:15 a.m. Wednesday at the Suit Corner store. The family business has operated out of the 100-year-old building for about 60 years.

Business owner Gary Ginsberg said the blaze broke out in a window display. He called the fire department and tried to put it out with an extinguisher but the flames spread too quickly.

Deputy fire chief Eric Fleming said the blaze was brought under control in about 90 minutes but firefighters continued to douse hot spots throughout the day.

One firefighter sustained a minor leg injury after falling over a piece of equipment. No other injuries were reported.

An investigation is underway.
