LANGSTON, Okla. (AP) - The U.S. Geological Survey says another earthquake has struck the Langston area - this time, a preliminary 3.1-magnitude quake on Tuesday night.

The USGS says the earthquake was recorded at 10:36 p.m. about 4 miles southwest of Langston. The earthquake was about 4 miles deep.

A day earlier, a magnitude-4.0 earthquake also struck near Langston, and the quake was felt widely in central Oklahoma, including the Oklahoma City area.



No damage or injuries have been reported with either earthquake.

Oklahoma City television station KWTV reports (https://bit.ly/1kKf914 ) two more earthquakes were recorded Wednesday morning. A 2.9-magnitude earthquake was recorded at 5:20 a.m. near Perry, while a 2.7-magnitude quake hit shortly after 5:30 a.m. near Cherokee.
