Not guilty plea in 2 Tacoma sex assaults

TACOMA, Wash. (AP) - A man accused of sexually assaulting two women in Tacoma pleaded not guilty Monday to rape and assault charges.

Pierce County prosecutors say 42-year-old Vol Lam attacked a 48-year-old homeless woman as she was sleeping Saturday and two hours later attacked a 59-year-old woman on a street in the Hilltop neighborhood.

The News Tribune reports (https://bit.ly/1g4WUjF) he’s suspected of attacking a third woman but not charged.

Lam is jailed with bail set at $250,000.
