Body found at Denny’s after shootings leave 3 dead

LONGVIEW, Texas (AP) - Police are investigating the shooting deaths of three people in East Texas.

The Longview News-Journal reports (https://bit.ly/1ioZDGE ) that police were first called Sunday evening about the body of a person found in a car parked outside a Denny’s.

A local justice of the peace said two others were reported dead later Sunday.

Longview Police spokeswoman Kristie Brian said a shooting occurred at a home near the Denny’s.

She did not immediately identify the victims or any potential suspects.

Longview is about 120 miles east of Dallas.
