DECATUR, Ga. (AP) - Police say they’re searching for a man accused of prompting an police-involved shooting at a suburban Atlanta Waffle House.

DeKalb County police say a man walked into the restaurant early Sunday morning and shot at an off-duty officer who was wearing his full uniform. The officer returned fired and the suspect fled the scene.

County Police Chief Cedric Alexander tells WSB-TV (https://bit.ly/1jR2Od0 ) the suspect may have been shot and blood was recovered from a wall near the restaurant’s entrance. Alexander says authorities are unsure of the extent of the man’s injuries.
