Pedestrian hit, killed on I-55

BYRAM, Miss. (AP) - Byram Police Chief Luke Thompson says an unidentified pedestrian was hit and killed by a Penske truck around 3 a.m. Sunday morning.

WLBT-TV reports (https://bit.ly/1hRcweK ) the victim was walking in the northbound lane of I-55 near Siwell Road.

Chief Thompson said their investigation is ongoing.
