ALLENDALE, Mich. (AP) - Everyone will be seeing double Sunday at a university in western Michigan.

Grand Valley State University in Allendale is holding an event to celebrate twins who are students. There will be T-shirts, pizza and a group photo at the campus arena, starting at 2 p.m.

GVSU says there are 101 sets of twins this year. Twins who are alumni are invited, too.

Kim Schmidt, who works in the GVSU alumni office, tells The Grand Rapids Press (https://bit.ly/OksHFH ) that 101 is “just a cool statistic.” She says campus number-crunchers were able to come up with the figure by checking records for students with the same last name and date of birth.
