Maine city phone system repaired

LEWISTON, Maine (AP) - Officials in the Maine city of Lewiston say the city phone system is back up and running.

The phone system shut down because of a parts failure and resident were urged to call 911 if they had an emergency.

Officials say the problem was fixed by Saturday afternoon.
