Possible arson under investigation at Cape clinic

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (AP) - A suspicious fire at a public health clinic in Cape Girardeau is under investigation.

The Southeast Missourian (bit.ly/1mIIQkA ) reports that firefighters quickly extinguished one or two small fires at the River City Health Clinic on Thursday morning. Cape Girardeau fire Captain Ray Warner says the case is being treated as a possible arson and is under investigation by city police and the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.

There were no reported injuries, but authorities say money and electronics equipment were reported missing from the clinic.
