3.7-magnitude quake in Napa Valley

YOUNTVILLE, Calif. (AP) - Geologists are reporting a 3.7-magnitude earthquake in Northern California.

The United States Geological Survey announced on its website that the quake occurred at about 9:04 p.m. about 5 miles east-northeast of Yountville, Calif.

The earthquake was recorded at a depth of about 4.7 miles, the USGS reported.

Yountville is a town of about 3,000 people in California’s wine-growing Napa Valley region.

It was not immediately clear if the quake had caused any damage.
