Skinner appointed Natchitoches superintendent

NATCHITOCHES, La. (AP) - Dale Skinner, high school principal in Natchitoches Parish since 2010, will be the district’s next superintendent.

The Town Talk reports (https://townta.lk/1mcc0w7 ) Skinner, of Zwolle, was chosen Tuesday night after three rounds of voting by the Natchitoches Parish School Board.

Skinner replaces Derwood Duke, who announced in January that he would retire April 30.

Skinner has 30 years’ experience as an administrator in Cameron, Sabine and Natchitoches, including four years as principal of Natchitoches Central High School.
