CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) - Several more Wyoming Department of Education employees have submitted their resignations.
That brings to 10 the number of employees who have left or announced their resignation in the months since state schools Superintendent Cindy Hill won a state Supreme Court ruling on her powers and duties.
The number includes department Director Rich Crandall, who was appointed by Gov. Matt Mead when Hill was removed as head of the agency last year.
The Casper Star-Tribune reports (https://bit.ly/1rOtdel ) that of those who left, most were upper-level management. And several had spoken to state investigators looking into the department’s activities under Hill’s previous tenure.
Hill, who moved back into the department this week, has said some staff changes are normal with a change in administrators.
