Human remains found in Hammond identified

HAMMOND, La. (AP) - Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff Daniel Edwards says the LSU Faces Laboratory has identified the human remains found behind a Hammond home as 31-year-old Jonathon H. Gordan of Loranger.

Edwards says Gordan was last seen on Dec. 31, 2013, in the Hammond area. In early February, Gordan’s vehicle was found abandoned in Ponchatoula.

On April 22, Gordan’s remains were found.

Edwards says the investigation surrounding Gordan’s disappearance and death is still under investigation.
