DURHAM, N.C. (AP) - A 9-year-old boy has been shot to death at a house in Durham.
Police say it appears the boy’s death Monday night was accident. The child’s name has not been released.
Police spokeswoman Kammie Michael says it appears the shooting involved juveniles. She did not provide details.
But Police Chief Jose Lopez issued a statement urging gun owners to store their weapons safely.
The investigation is continuing.
