RICHMOND, Va. (AP) - Virginia officials are making E-ZPass transponders available at more sites inn Hampton Roads and Richmond.

Drivers now can obtain the E-ZPass On-the-Go transponders at 13 Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles locations in the Tidewater area and six locations in the Richmond area.

The department says in a news release that the transponders also are available at all five of its DMV 2 Go mobile customer service centers. The mobile centers visit locations across Virginia.

The department also plans to expand the number of locations along the Interstate 95 corridor that distribute the E-ZPassFlex. The E-ZPassFlex has an additional switchable feature designed for drivers traveling on the 495 express lanes and future 95 express lanes in northern Virginia.
